TCS has released its application and exam pattern for TCS Ninja National Qualifier test on August 6th, 2018. TCS Ninja hiring is open for all 2019 graduates across India. TCS Ninja has been one of the most awaited recruitment this year. This article discusses the TCS Ninja exam pattern, dates, eligibility criteria, and application process.

TCS Ninja Exam dates
TCS Ninja has confirmed its exam date. TCS Ninja test would happen nation-wise on 2nd and 3rd September 2018.
The last date to apply for TCS Ninja is 20th August 2018.

TCS Ninja Eligibility Criteria
Year of Passing: Batch of 2019
Qualification: Full-Time Students from B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc/MCA
B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech – All Specializations
M.Sc – Computer Science/Information Technology and other related disciplines
MCA with B.Sc/BCA/B.Com/BA (with Mathematics/Statistics)
Percentage Criteria: A candidate should have a minimum aggregate of 60% throughout in Class X, XII, Diploma (if applicable), UG & PG (if applicable).
Backlogs: A candidate should not have more than 1 pending backlog at the time of appearing for the test.
Academic Gap Criteria: the Overall gap in academics should not exceed 2 years.
Academic Course Completion: All academic courses should be finished within the stipulated course duration as per TCS Eligibility Criteria and/or they should be completed within the duration as prescribed by the Board/University.

TCS Ninja Exam pattern
TCS has revealed the pattern for TCS Ninja National qualifier test. The TCS Ninja exam would be of 90 minutes and would have questions from the following categories:

1) English
2) Quantitative Aptitude
3) Programming Logic
4) Coding
This is a new section in TCS exam this time.

The selection process is a 90 minute written test followed by an interview. It is expected to have the same syllabus as that of the regular pattern. The expected pattern for is as follows.

Quantitative Aptitude:
This section contains 20 basic aptitude questions which you have to solve in 40 minutes. They all carry a negative marking of 0.33 marks. Certain questions marked with a star in the quantitative section generate higher negative marking for wrong answers. You are allowed to use a simple calculator.

Programming language efficiency
This section consists of 10 questions which you have to solve in 20 minutes. This section tests your basic programming skills like input, output and debugging. The questions asked in this section also carry a negative marking of 0.33.

Coding test
This Coding section consists of one or two questions, which are required to be solved in 20 minutes. Candidates will use an inbuilt compiler to solve their questions in C, C++ programming language. TCS might as well ask to only code using the command line arguments.

English Test
This is a new section in TCS exam this time. This is the most scoring section of this exam if prepared well. More updates o this section will soon be out.
