INTERVIEW QUESTION
**************************************************

The new pattern has got 4 rounds of selection:

1)General Aptitude Test: has 4 sections but we were told to attempt only three as 4th section was technical with C and C++ questions and it was an open campus for all trades, that’s why.
(a)General English: with sentence completion,Synonyms, matching relation type questions with 1 comprehension(a bit different) and yes most important “English section was qualifying” means if u do not clear this section ur paper will not be evaluated.
(b)Mathematics: simple problems over area,volume,probability,profit-loss,Simple Interest and all.just refer R.S.Agrawal or Abhijit Guha..that will be more than enuf.

(c)Logical: Data interpretation type problems. i guess it needs no practice. u gotta do it on the spot. jz need presence of mind.
2)Group Discussion: there were batches with 10 students each after elimination from Aptitude.
topics were like: Are women better manager than men, recession, population etc
(if u clear this u are almost done, start partying :D)

3)Technical Interview: guyz from different departments were tested in their fields.
was not much tough. basic knowledge will clear it easily

4) Personal Interview: just be confident with everything in ur CV. the interviewer just scanned ma CV and questioned over that only. do have sound knowledge about ur hobbies.rest will be cool.

5) Wait for the Result:Date

if everything has gone the right way then keep ma words U R A ZenSarian..!

Zensar on line written test pattern

First round was Online test. It contains

30 Questions of general aptitude in 30 mins.

20 Questions of C programming in 20 Mins

2 SQL queries had to be solved on 15 mins.

2 C program had to be solved in 15 mins.

Aptitude questions were easy.

Generally most of the questions were based on Speed & distance, Profit & Loss, Area & Volume and ratio & proportion.

C programming questions were very easy if know basics of C you can solve them easily.

SQL queries are little bit tough. They had asked queries on joins, nested queries etc.

Programming questions were easy. I got min/max program from 10 numbers and a series completion program like 2,4,6,8….

Zensar GD procedure

From aptitude only 42 students were selected for GD. They made 6 groups of 7 each. Intially they asked us to suggest some topics and then they took voting. We had got topic as “ SAFETY OF WOMEN IN INDIA”.

Among 42 students only 22 got selected for Technical Interview.

The guy who took my interview was very frank in nature. He just asked about my project and some basic c,cpp and java questions. He also asked me to write a program using polymorphism and encapsulation. Actually he just wanted to check whether I know the two concepts. Then he went through my resume and asked some questions on my hobbies.

He asked me about my favorite game and I said Football then he asked me about my favorite player and why?

I said Ronaldhino is my favorite player because of his mind blowing control over the ball. Then he asked why I don’t like Messi and Ronaldo? Then I gave some negative points of both.

After about 30 mints my name was announced for HR interview.

The HR was very friendly and was asking simple questions like tell me about yourself ?,

About your family?

Situation which impacted your life?

Why Zensar?

Are you ready to relocate?

Bla bla..

Then he took my photograph and pasted on the from which he had and then told me that your interview is over.

After 2 days results came out and I was one of them. Among 22 only 12 people were selected for HR interview and all 12 were selected finally. So if you cleared the technical round you are in .

I just wanted to say just have faith in god and you will achieve your dreams.
**************************************************************************************************************

I was in the 6th semester when Zensar Technologies conducted the Pre assessment test for Zensar Corporate Training. The Test consisted of Group Discussion followed by Aptitude test. GD was on the Current and usual topics like FDI, Social Networking etc. & the aptitude consisted of few Analytical, Verbal and Logical questions. The difficulty level was moderate. The ones who cleared the above two rounds were given training in the 7th semester. The training consisted of

Communication Skills: 40 hours
Programming Basics: 40 hours
Java / Dot Net: 80 hours
PL-SQL: 40 hours

We were given an option to choose from Java and Dot Net framework. The training was rigorous, starting at 9:00 am in morning till 7:00 pm in the evening. We were trained by Certified Corporate Trainers. We used to have tests every day in the evening and the results were recorded. On the last day of the Java training we had a 3 hours test and were told to write a program for “Vodafone Billing System” (Prepaid/Postpaid billing system) and I was the one to complete the program first with all the 6 Test cases executed successfully. Similarly on last day of PL-SQL training we were tested & were told to write a PL-SQL program for “Pizza Delivery System”. Overall, based on all the Test Results 15 candidates were selected and were called at Zensar Technologies, Kharadi for the HR round. Around 10 candidates cleared the HR round and were offered with the post of Junior Software Developer and I was among one of them. So guys don’t miss the chance if you are getting this kind of training/Internship in any company because this Corporate Training / Internship worth a lot and you cannot get this kind of experience anywhere.

The second round was Group discussion. We were made into a batch of 15 students each. The topics can be socio-political or completely dependent on the current news.
My topic was “India’s obsession with cricket is driving out all the other sports in the country”.
GD does not mean that you will shout and keep talking. Speak less, to the point, interact with everybody, give everyone a fair chance to speak, and give valid points, if you do not agree with someone challenge that point and give justification for it. GD needs a good command on language, statistics, and strong non repeated points.
Previous years Topics
Topic was “Are men better manager then Women”
“India’s obsession with cricket is driving out all the other sports in the country”.

3.Technical and Hr.-45 minutes

Asked most proficient language

What are pointers? Advantages of pointers?

What is strut? What is the difference between stack and queue?

Write me a data structure for queue.

What is data structure? What is heap?

What is binary tree?

Write me a program for swapping 2 numbers using 2 variables only.

Write me a program for printing 2 numbers after multiplication.

Write me a program for a prime number

What is foreign key and primary key?

What is security (as my ppt topic was ‘SECURITY IN Wi-Fi’)

What are the threats to security?

What you will do to provide security?

Which are the most important areas requiring security?

SQL

What is foreign key and primary key?

Explain with example. Draw 2 tables of student and College and show the relationship between them.

What is the difference between DBMS and RDBMS?

Explain joins. What are the types of joins? Explain natural join and semi join.

4 The HR round was of 15 mins.

Basic questions were asked.
1) Tell me about yourself (advertise yourself as much as you can)
2) Why Zensar?
3) What is your weakness?
4) What are your hobbies?
5) Why do you think we should hire you?
6) Do you have any questions?

Note: Prepare something beforehand if you want. Watch and listen to their pre placement talk very carefully. They can ask questions on that.
Be confident and smart, dress well and be polite. That is the key for cracking the HR related rounds.
